Dhaulagiri lies in the western Nepal in an Annapurna region. The peak is the 7th highest peak in the world uprising with an altitude of (8,167m).  This peak was first climbed in 1960 by team of Max Eiselin Lucerne and his team. The trekking starts from Beni and ends at Kaligandaki valley. The trail to remote areas touch the areas where Myagdi glacier, Italian base camp exist. You will reach the Dhaulagiri Base camp from where you can have a breathtaking  view of the Putali and Tukuche peak. You can explore around the hidden valley resembling the heavenly landscape within the stunning snowy surrounding. This is the strenuous trekking to an alpine environment providint an unforgettable moment to rejoice. Previous trekking experience is required for the Dhaulagiri round trek. Surpassing the cultivated fields, high passes, rhododendron and alpine forests, hot springs, waterfalls, glacier as snow valleys provides an unforgettable adventure and photographic journey. Main Attraction:

Fly or drive to Pokhara, By air 30 minute and overland 7 hr. drive, transfer to trailhead, after the trek fly back from Jomsom to Pokhara.

The Route:
Max. Altitude 5360 m. French pass and 5250 m. Thapa pass, both moderate and strenuous trail, average 5-6 hr. walk per day, and we'll get an early start to cross the passes. It's a longer walk on those days.

Best Season:
Sept. to Nov. and March to May.

No teahouses, only camping, porters are necessary in order to carry all gear and food.



Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.

Day 02: 
Sightseeing around Kathmandu and basic preparation for upcoming trek.

Day 03: 
Drive to Beni to trailhead from Pokhara, 5 hrs by bus, start the trek and overnight camp at Babiochaur.

Day 04: Babiochaur to Darbang (camp at school Chaur).

Day 05: Darbang to Phalai Gaun.

Day 06: 
Phalai Gaun to Jugepani (camp near by river bank).

Day 07:Jugepani to Baghar (lunch time stay at same place).

Day 08: Baghar to Dobang.

Day 09:Dobang to Pakhaban (camp before Sallaghari).

Day 10: 
Pakhaban to Italian Camp.

Day 11: Italian Camp to Japanese Camp.

Day 12: 
Japanese Camp to Dhaulagiri Base Camp.

Day 13:Dhaulagiri Base Camp to Hidden Valley (French Pass 5360m.)

Day 14:Hidden Valley to Yak Kharka (Thapa Pass 5290m.).

Day 15:Yak Kharka to Marpha (Teahouse stay).

Day 16:
Marpha to Kalapani

Day 17: Kalapani to Tatopani

Day 18:Tatopani to Gorepani

Day 19:
Gorepani to Tirkhedhunga

Day 20:Tirkhedunga to Pokhara


Day 21: Fly or drive back to Kathmandu or head towards other destinations.
